Yacht Sales, Inc. was founded in September of 1991 by John Baier.
With nearly a lifetime of experience in successful motoryacht and
motorsail brokerage, repair and delivery, John saw his own future
docking in Sausalito. What he saw was the opportunity and need for
a serious and professional dealership to represent larger motor yachts
in Northern California. As John set his sights on the Pacific horizon,
the prestigious Grand Banks line was charting a similar course. The
two aligned their quiet sophistication and credible reputations to
create one of the most respected private brokerages in the country.
John credits his success to his attention to his customers needs,
