Great Escape is a Beneteau First 36.7, one of the great, true racer-cruisers on the San Francisco, Bay area market today. This vessel offers a combination of performance, comfort and amenities, making it enjoyable for both cruising and weekend living-aboard. Newer Standing Rigging.
Accommodations
The forward stateroom features a double V-berth that measures 6'5" with storage under and shelves alongside. A hanging locker is to starboard. Moving aft there is a head to port featuring a sink with hand held shower/faucet, head, a storage locker, mirror and opening hatch. The main salon has two opposing settees with a removable folding dining table amidships for dining. Outboard of the settees there is storage and shelves. An overhead hatch provides good ventilation. The nav station is aft of the salon and to starboard featuring a chart table with space for chart storage, instruments and the electrical panel. There is additional stowage under the nav seat. To port opposite the nav station is an ample galley. Two aft cabins provide additional accommodations. The port cabin features a 6'6" double berth, hanging locker and stowage shelves. The starboard cabin provides similar amenities with a 6’6” single berth. The interior is finish is cherry stained wood with white counters. The upholstery is white Ultraleather in the salon with stylish blue and white stripes in the staterooms. There are screens and shades for the opening ports.
Galley
There is a gimbaled two-burner LPG stove with oven and pan storage under. The counter is fitted with two S/S sinks, cold storage with 12VDC refrigeration, and an opening port for ventilation. Outboard lockers, a cutlery drawer and built in trash bin are provided.

Spars and Rigging
There many systems in place on Great Escape for ease of handling. The mainsheet has been designed with a gross tune/fine tune totaling 20:1 and the backstay was upgraded to a 24:1 cascading with the cleats mounted on the binnacle to allow the helmsman to play the backstay.
